2000-05-11 16:16:42 is scarcity model the name of a band? i don't think it is. it's not on ubl.com and the domain name is still up for grabbin. I think it would be a good name for a band, ok? some of you kids get together and make it happen. go ahead. i only request that at least one song on your first cd be about dairyland. speaking of shout out to diaryland, there is one this week in an article in breakupgirl.com that was written by our very own jo-e!!!!! it's a really good article. I know because I was there at GeekPride. anyway, jo-e is cool and you should totally read her article, yo!!!! i found some very flat pebbles on the beach at cape cod. what drives us to search for things on the beach that we can put in out pockets and then keep on our desks at work? everyone does it. it's some wierd primal need that I don't understand, yet find myself unable to resist. i think pretty much everyone on our retreat spent at least a few minutes looking for sea glass. (there was none). I found some good sea glass in maine once. have you ever seen fishing with john? it was one of my favorite shows. anyways, on one episode john lurie and tom waits discuss the contradictions of driftwood art. like, driftwood art is crappy, but most people can totally understand the need to find cool things on the beach. anyways, sorta. but i don't understand where this comes from. and i suck at writing about things i don't understand. which is most everything. i have to also remember to buy a tofurkey on the way home. tonite begins night one. although it has to defrost, so I won't actually enjoy the tofurkey until tomorrow. k thank you very much & credits music: |
